Object Design label Page Thirty Three draws reference and inspiration from
graphic arts, trees, flowers, weeds, music, fashion, youth culture,
art history, design, and the street. Page Thirty Three evolves household
objects into functional art pieces for those intrigued by the cross
pollination of genres. Co-founders’ Bianca Riggio and Ryan Hanrahan
met in 2008 and the link was instantly forged. When their paths crossed
again 12 months later the creative spark was ignited. It was a meeting
of hearts and minds, and as time passed most conversations led along
tangents of intrigue and wonder. It was these conversations
which formed the basis of their creative design.
Their new collection ‘Entertaining the Myth’ sees a deepening of the
connection and friendship between art, humour, design, irony and functionality.
“Somewhere between the cold dark of dawn and a fluffy doily we inherited from
our grandma, our collection has become a direct reflection of what intrigues us
in daily life. Facing new challenges in the Modern World, Page Thirty Three has
started to evolve our process and design toward a new way of thinking. One that
involves as many Australian made products as possible, as well as using, not just
sustainable and recycled materials, but also re-using existing materials in order
to break the energy flow. The next 12 months will see an even bigger shift, and
we look forward to sharing it with you. We hope you enjoy our latest creations.”
